  • Fantasy
  • Humour

  • And many more!

There's something for every student and best of all the Reading Eggs Library is always expanding!

Teacher tip: Additional library filters include the option to search specifically for 'Hi-Lo' books.

Hi-Lo readers provide struggling readers with engaging, high-interest titles that match their reading ability.

These books feature a high interest age but a low reading age, making them ideal for students who lack confidence or have become disengaged from reading.

Hi-Lo readers often have illustrations or graphics, making the book appear to be for an older reader, but the text will be simpler.

The content may also be more appropriate and interesting to the older reader, featuring comic styles, sporting themes and humor.

To access these, click on 'MORE FILTERS' in the Teacher Library and select 'Hi-Lo'; those readers will then be displayed.

Suggestion: Create a collection of these books to share with your struggling readers. This will make the books easily accessible to both students and their parents.
